Ⅰ…omitted… Ⅱ. Eligible children: Children eligible to join the after-school club are those residing in this city and enrolled in elementary school up to the 3rd grade. However, children with disabilities may join up to the 6th grade. Ⅲ. Membership conditions: When a guardian (including grandparents or other cohabiting family members) falls under any of the following circumstances and the child is deemed unable to receive supervision or protection. 1. Regularly engaged in employment (Note 1). (However, this does not apply to individuals aged 65 or older) ※ 2. In cases of long-term illness, or when there is a mental or physical disability. Or when providing constant nursing or care. 3. When actively seeking employment or acquiring skills for employment. 4. When the guardian is expecting a child and is within the period from 6 weeks before delivery to 8 weeks after delivery. 5. When on parental leave, within one year after childbirth. 6. When affected by disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, floods, or fires, and currently in the process of recovery. ※The standard working status is defined as working 3 or more days per week and for 4 or more hours. However, this excludes those working daytime shifts who are at home around 2:30 PM. IV. Fees: Using the after-school club incurs a nurturing fee (Note 3) and a snack fee. The monthly fee is 5,000 yen (4,000 yen for the nurturing fee and 1,000 yen for the snack fee). However, if there are two or more children enrolled in the after-school club within the same household (Note 2), the nurturing fee for the second and subsequent children will be halved per child.
