Reference translation
English
In sports with a strong psychological component, such as golf, the phrase "entering the zone" is often used. It is a translation of the English expression "in the zone." This "zone" refers to a state in which one is so deeply focused that feelings of happiness and confidence overflow in the heart, allowing the body to function naturally and perform at its absolute best. For the person experiencing it, time seems to slow down, and they feel as though everything is being pushed in a direction where it will succeed. This also connects to states of mind in martial arts, such as selflessness, self-forgetfulness, and complete freedom. However, this is not something one can achieve consciously. It is said that one can only wait for it to "come."
