Reference translation
English
"Grandgrandchildren's Day": Department stores started saying that the third Sunday of October is "Grandchildren's Day." That day is supposedly a day to play with your grandchildren, but when I see signs in large letters like "Grandchildren's Day Presents" in the toy section, I think department stores are smart. Most people answered that they learned about "Grandchildren's Day" when they read about it in the newspaper or went to a department store. However, there are still many people who do not know about it. It is said that when it was first written about, many people thought, "Department stores came up with a clever idea." Grandfathers and grandmothers have money. Since grandchildren are cute, they will probably spend money for them. Someday, it might become a day to buy presents for grandchildren, just like "Mother's Day." *Grandchild -> child's child
