English
Recently, programs that recognize human voices (Note 1) and read written text have come to be used in various places. And, for example, the explanation that "this program can recognize the voice of any person" is often given. However, one should not take that literally. When it says "any person's voice," it often means that it can distinguish almost all adult male voices, while there are cases where it cannot properly recognize female voices, the hoarse voices of the elderly (Note 2), or children's voices (omitted).
