Sentence Pattern
~に N が います/あります
Structure: ~に N が あります/います
Interrogative words: なに (What) / だれ (Who)
* あります (arimasu): To exist / have (Used only for inanimate objects).
* います (imasu): To exist / have (Used for people and animals).
Expresses the existence of a person or object in a certain location.
Place nouns denoting locations before に (ni).
Use the particle が (ga) after the noun indicating the person or object.
Note: Do not use the particle は (wa) after interrogative words (Incorrect: ✖なには, ✖だれは).

N1 や N2 …(など): Things like ~ and ~ (and so on).
Used to list nouns (a partial list).
For the last noun, we do not use や, but end the list with など (nado).
