Sentence Pattern
Vて + も いいです / Vて + も かまいません
Structure: Vても いいです (It is okay to do ~), Vても かまいません (I don't mind if you do ~).

Sentence Pattern
Vて + はいけません / Vて + は だめです
Structure: Vてはいけません (Must not do ~, ~ is prohibited), Vてはだめです (Must not ~).
Meaning: Prohibits or forbids an action.

Structure: ~Vています.
Meaning: Besides indicating an action in progress (learned in Lesson 14), it has two other meanings:
① State or condition: knowing, being married, living... (Note:結婚 しません will not marry - 結婚 していません am not married. 知 っています know - 知 りません do not know).
② Repeated or continuous actions over a long period: occupation, manufacturing, selling...

Part 5: N に V / N1 に N2 を V
Sentence Pattern
N(場所 ) に V / N1 に N2 を V
Structure: N (place) に V. The particle に indicates the location where the subject exists after performing the action V. Common verbs: hairimasu (enter N), suwarimasu (sit on N), norimasu (get on/ride N), noborimasu (climb N), tsukimasu (arrive at N).
Structure: N1 に N2 を V. The particle に indicates the location N1 where N2 exists after the action V is performed.
