Part 6: Conversation using Plain Form
Sentence Pattern
1. **Interrogative sentences:** Omit か, だ and raise the intonation at the end of the sentence.
2. **Particles:** Particles like を, へ, は, が can be omitted if the meaning is clear from the context. *Do not omit: で, に, から, まで, と because omitting them would make the meaning unclear.*
3. **Vている sentences:** The い can be omitted (→ Vてる).
4. **が:** が is often replaced by けど, which is frequently used in conversation.
