1. Noun が + ほしい + です

Sentence Pattern
N が ほしいです
Want something. Used to express the desire to have an object.
Example Sentences (2)
今いま、 あなたは 何なにが 欲ほしいですか。

→ What do you want right now?

私わたしは パンが 欲ほしいです。

→ I want some bread.

2. Verb stem (without masu) + たいです

Sentence Pattern
V ます + たいです
Want to do something.
Expresses a desire to act.
[ほしい] and [たいです] cannot be used to express a third person's desire, nor can they be used to invite someone to do something.
Example Sentences (3)
私わたしは 沖縄おきなわへ 行いきたいです。

→ I want to go to Okinawa.

靴くつを 買かいたいです。

→ I want to buy shoes.

お腹なかが 痛いたいですから、何なにも 食たべたくないです。

→ Because my stomach hurts, I don't want to eat anything.

3. Noun (place) へ / に + Verb stem / Action noun + に + 行きます / 来ます / 帰ります

Sentence Pattern
N (địa điểm) へ / に + V ます + に + 行いきます / 来きます / 帰かえります
N (địa điểm) へ / に + N (hành động) + に + 行いきます / 来きます / 帰かえります
Go / come / return to a place to do something.
The noun placed before [に] must be an action noun.
Example Sentences (2)
私わたしは 日本にほんへ 日本語にほんごを 勉強べんきょうしに 行いきたいです。

→ I want to go to Japan to study Japanese.

明日あした、 私わたしは 京都きょうとの お祭まつりに 行いきます。

→ Tomorrow, I will go to a festival in Kyoto.

4. Noun + に + Verb / Noun + を + Verb

Sentence Pattern
N + に + V
N + を + V
In this pattern, the particle [に] is used with verbs like [はいります] and [のります] to indicate a destination.
Rule: Enter using に, Exit using を.
Example Sentences (1)
あの 喫茶店きっさいてんに 入はいりましょう。

→ Let's enter that coffee shop.

5. どこか / なにか

Sentence Pattern
どこか
なにか
[どこか]: Somewhere.
[なにか]: Something.
The particles [へ] and [を] can be omitted after [どこか] and [なにか].
Example Sentences (1)
喉のどが 渇かわきましたから、何なにか(を) 飲のみたいです。

→ I'm thirsty, so I want to drink something.

6. ご注文は

Sentence Pattern
ご注文ちゅうもんは
May I take your order?
What would you like to order?
This is a phrase often used by waiters/waitresses to customers.
The prefix [ご] is added to show respect.
